Anna's Discus Gold
Huge Congratulations to our very talented Anna Gavigan who won gold in Discus at the NI and Ulster Senior Championships at the Mary Peter’s Track on Saturday! Anna also has a new under 20 European ranking following her gold medal winning performance at the National Schools Competition in Tullamore on June 4th. Anna is such an inspiration to all our Juveniles.
Rivervalley Parkrun
Mark Kelly debuting his new club singlet had a fantastic run at Rivervalley parkrun placing second with a PB time of 20:35...Well Done Mark, Amazing result!
Under 12's Relay
Our Under 12's relay team Leon Capocci, Mark Kelly, Conor Purdue, Sam Hetherton & Rhys Corcoran were in action on Wednesday in Day 5 of the Dublin Juvenile Championship. A massive thank you to coaches Fiona, Ruth & Eimear for the extra training & for their help on the night. That now concludes the Dublin Track and Field Championships 2022. Well done to everyone who represented LSA at the events. We have 3 athletes Eliza, Eabha & Anna who have qualified for the National finals in July.
Our next Juvenile competition will be the Cross Country League starting in September.

ADULT SECTION
BHAA 5k Trail Run
Congrats to Les Brooks on completing a very bumpy BHAA 5k Trail Run in a fantastic 23.20 at the Phoenix Park on Tuesday Evening.

We had 3 Runners representing LSA at Saturday's Park Run. Well done to Pat Cussen, Cathal Brady & Cathal Fitzgerald and Thank you to our very own Race Director Steven Rice & thanks to Ciara Cullen for volunteering.

Pride 5k Friday 17th June 2022
An outstanding performance by Eimear Caulfield in the Pride 5k in the Phoenix park on Friday evening. Eimear won the race in an impressive 19:49. Amazing result Eimear!
C25k Graduation
Congratulations to out C25K crew who graduated their 8 week programme with a 5k cliff run followed by certificate presentation and coffee and pastries in the shoreline hotel. A massive thank you to Jennifer and Andrew for coaching for the past 8 weeks, ensuring everyone successfully completed the programme. Thank you also to all the members who came out to support, motivate and take photos along the route. Our c25k graduates will now move into our Fit for Life Group.

LSA ON TOUR
And Finally....
A reminder that the 150th National Senior Championships take place in Santry next Saturday and Sunday. Sunday afternoon will be televised and there will be some cracking races. Our own Anna will be competing in Discus on Sunday and on Sunday afternoon there will be a parade of Clubs at 4.30pm. Juvenile members of all clubs will take part and LSA will be represented by Juvenile member Ruth. Further information on the even can be found here
